24-40 Environmental Review & Arborist Support Services

The City of Mercer Island Community is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide for “on-call” services at the City’s discretion for environmental review and arborist review support services. The selected firms should have expertise in identifying critical areas, determining their presence or absence, and evaluating development proposals in regions where critical areas or other sensitive environmental features are present, and arborist review support services. The ideal firm will have experience providing these services to similar local agencies.

Duration: This contract for on-call services will be for a two-year period from January 1, 2025 to December 31, 2026.

PROPOSED TIMELINE

• Posting RFP - October 18, 2024
• RFP Submittal Due - November 15, 2024, at noon (12 p.m.)
• Submittals Selected for Interviews* - November 21, 2024
• Interviews* - December 5, 2024
• Notification to All Applicants - December 12, 2024
• Project Start Date - January 2, 2025

* The need for interviews will be determined by the review team during their evaluation.
