NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Mercer Island Hearing Examiner will conduct an open record public hearing on Friday, October 31, 2025, at approximately 9:00AM for the following project:

Description of Request: A request for Design Review for the construction of a new PreK-8 school and office building and associated site improvements, including construction of a trash enclosure, parking lot reconfiguration, installation of utilities, a play area, and pedestrian pathways, and removal and replacement of trees.

Time, Date, and Location of Open Record Public Hearing: Pursuant to MICC 19.15.030 Table D, a public hearing is required for Design Commission Design Review applications. On June 17, 2025 the City Council passed Ordinance No. 25C-14, which delegated all Design Commission authority to the Hearing Examiner, effective June 30, 2025.
The public hearing for DSR25-009 is scheduled for October 31, 2025 at 9:00AM. The open record public hearings will be held virtually using Zoom by either calling in or logging onto the meeting as a Zoom attendee.
