I cannot make my court date, can I get a new court date?
Please contact the Mercer Island Municipal Court to request a new court date. The Court is open from 9 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday or call 206.275.7604. Click here for more information regarding Mercer Island Municipal Court.
Can I receive legal advice from the City Attorney's office?
No. The City Attorney provides legal advice and representation to the City Council, City Manager, City Departments, and City Boards and Commissions. If you need legal advice, please contact your personal attorney for assistance. The King County Bar Association has a lawyer referral program if you need help finding an attorney. If you live in King County, you may call the King County Bar Association's Neighborhood Legal Clinics at 206.267.7070 between 9:00 a.m. and noon, Monday through Thursday, to schedule a free half-hour of legal advice.
