Come celebrate Arbor Day with Mercer Island Natural Resources Team! Arbor Day is an annual event where we celebrate our urban canopy and help to create future healthier forests.  This year, we're looking to get 850+ native plants in the ground at Gallagher Hill Open Space. In addition to planting we will have plenty of mulch to spread, and weeds to pull out of the ground. We could use all the help we can get!

This year we will be splitting Arbor Day up into 3 shifts, the Full day shift- 10am-2pm, and Half shifts. Please arrive on time to ensure you get a proper planting demo.
