Leaf Raking in Rotary Park

Turn Over a New Leaf! Come to Rotary Park at the corner of 88th and 44th on Oct. 27 from 9 a.m. to noon and help create some unique and beautiful "Land Art" designs using fallen leaves! The Rotary Club of Mercer Island, MI Visual Arts League, and the MI Parks Department are collaborating on this fun event. Rakes and gloves provided or bring your own.  Water, coffee, snacks and doughnuts for all participants. All ages welcome, especially kids.   We'll do a "Leaf Labyrinth" next to the Rotary Peace Pole, but you can make your own leafy artwork with family and friends. Park on nearby streets near the MI Library and St. Monica's. Sign in at our Rotary table when you arrive. See you there!

• When: Sunday, October 27^th, 9am-12pm
• Where: Rotary Park, meet by the peace pole
• What to bring: Dress for the weather in clothes you don’t mind getting dirty (think: long pants, boots or sneakers). Bring water, and maybe a rake. Small snacks, gloves, and tools will be provided.
