Mushroom ID Class

Join the Mercer Island Natural Resources team for an evening class all about Mushroom ID. We’ll start off the evening with a power point presentation teaching you about different mushroom characteristics. After you’ve learned the basics, we’ll spend the remainder of the class testing out different ID techniques with actual mushrooms. You’ll have opportunities to cut up mushrooms, take spore prints, look under a microscope, and make observations. If you’re curious about the amazing world of fungi, this is the class for you!

No exerience necessary, all ages welcome!
