DSHS Mobile Office Visit (RESCHEDULED TO 2/10/2025)

UPDATE: DSHS Mobile Office has been rescheduled due to snow. The mobile office will be on Mercer Island Monday, February 10th from 9:00am to 12:00pm.

YFS is partnering with the Department of Social and Human Services (DSHS) to bring the DSHS Mobile Office truck to the Island on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, February 5, 2025 and April 2, 2025 from 1pm-4pm, joining the free Hopelink Mobile Market in the MICEC parking lot. The truck is wheelchair accessible and provides hearing-impaired access and language interpretation services. The mobile office increases community access to state and federal programs and provides consultation to individuals, seniors, and families to identify need and program eligibility; including SNAP/EBT food assistance (day of approval and card provided), reduced or free ORCA cards (day of approval and card provided), and initial application for multiple programs. This is a drop-in, first come first-serve service with no appointments needed.
