Stop the Bleed
We have partnered with WA State emergency management trainers to offer two Stop the Bleed classes this November.
Stop the Bleed teaches participants techniques to help save a life before someone bleeds out including how to apply pressure to a wound and how to correctly apply a tourniquet. These techniques will empower participants to assist in an emergency and potentially save a life.
Why Take Stop the Bleed? A bleeding injury can happen anywhere, anytime. Life-threatening bleeding can happen in people injured in serious accidents or disasters. The person next to a bleeding victim may very well be the one who’s most likely to save him or her from bleeding to death. By learning how to control bleeding, participants will gain the ability to recognize life-threatening bleeding and act quickly and effectively to control bleeding once you learn three quick techniques. Become empowered to make a life-or-death difference when a bleeding emergency happens.
To accommodate as many schedules as possible, we’re offering one daytime (2:30-4:30pm) and one evening (5:30-7:30pm) class, on Thursday, November 14. There is room for 30 participants in each class.
Seats will fill quickly, sign up early! Click here to register.
*Update* As of October 9, the daytime class is FULL. Register for the evening class or be added to the waitlist for the daytime class.
