Westbound I-90 Lane and Ramp Closures Overnight Friday, March 17

March 17, 2023 - The Washington state Department of Transportation will close the two right lanes on westbound I-90 on Mercer Island overnight this Friday for tunnel maintenance.

Beginning at 9:00pm Friday, March 17, through 6:00am on Saturday, March 18, the two right lanes on westbound I-90 starting at Island Crest Way will be closed. The 76th Avenue Southeast/North Mercer Way and West Mercer Way on-ramps will close prior to the 9:00pm lane closure.

During the closure, Mercer Island traffic can access westbound I-90 from either the East Mercer Way or the Island Crest Way HOV/carpool ramps. Signed detours will be in place to guide travel around the closures.

Eastbound I-90 will not be impacted.
