Mostly Music in the Park

The City of Mercer Island's Mercerdale Park sets the stage for the summer outdoor concert series, "Mostly Music in the Park."

Bring a blanket, a few low-back chairs, a picnic dinner and your family for an evening of music and entertainment. food trucks will be on-site each week, as well as hands-on arts and crafts for kids of all ages!

Submission Guidelines for 2025 Concerts

• To Apply:  E-mail katie.herzog@mercerisland.gov with links to your music samples, bio, photos, videos, and any other information you think will be useful to the selection committee. All submissions must be digital.
• Submission Timeline: January 1, 2026 - March 1, 2026
• Selection Timeline: The selection committee aims to confirm the line-up by April 1, 2025 (subject to change based on marketing & promotion timelines).

Performers - What Do We Offer?

• Compensation: Once selected, the series coordinator will negotiate final contract amounts with each performer. 

• Sound System: The City partners with Morgan Sound to provide high quality sound set-up. If selected, performers will work directly with the sound engineers on input and staging needs.

• Marketing & Promotion: The City will promote the concerts through a variety of channels, which may include print mailers, signage, e-newsletters, and social media. Performers will be expected to promote concerts via their own networks and channels (website, social media, etc.). Once the line-up is selected, City staff will connect with performers about overall marketing plans and needs for individual concerts.
