Restoration Event | Native Plant Nursery- Luther Burbank

Join us in our Native Plant Nursery!

Our Nursery is home to many native plants that will get planted across the island! We need help caring for them, tasks may include: potting up bare-root plants, organizing plants by species, re-potting older plants, organizing materials, cleaning tools, among other tasks.

Get your hands in the dirt, work alongside neighbors and friends, and eat snacks! No experience necessary; gloves and tools are provided.

• When: Tuesday, January 16^th, 3pm-5pm
• Where: Caretakers Building, near Luther Burbank Park North Parking Lot, look for Volunteer Event signs and follow the arrows
• What to bring: Dress for the weather in clothes you don’t mind getting dirty (think: long pants, boots or sneakers). Bring a water bottle. Small snacks, gloves, and tools will be provided.
