Bird ID Walk | Luther Burbank Park
Tuesday, May 20, 2025 - 9:00am to 11:00am
Join us for a morning birding walk through Luther Burbank Park, juts in time for spring migration. If you’re new to birding, curious about birding in a group, or just want to enjoy the park through a new lens, this is the walk for you!
We’ll take a leisurely walk through the park listening and looking out for different birds. We’ll teach about the basics of bird id through the help of the Cornell Lab of Ornithology ID app Merlin. We’ll also show how you can participate in community science using another app eBird to catalogue bird species you see. No experience necessary, all ages welcome.
- When: Tuesday, May 20th, 9am-11am
- Where: Luther Burbank Park, meet at the bulletin board at the North Parking Lot
