Evening Owl Walk

Pioneer Park is home to many different critters, including over 70 species of birds. Owls often remain year-long residents in their homes. Both Great Horned Owls and Barred Owls have been documented in Pioneer Park, but there are 6 other species of owls who live in the surrounding areas. Join us on an evening walk through Pioneer Park to try and locate some of our owl residents, and maybe hear some of our less common owl species.

We recommend downloading the app Merlin Bird ID, which will allow you to record bird songs, and help to identify them.
