Luther Burbank South Shoreline Trail

Join us for our MLK Day of Service in Luther Burbank Park for a day of planting and weeding.

We have a short list of plants we’re hoping to get in the ground, and once we’ve finished, we will focus on removing non-native blackberry that is growing along the trail. This will be a great chance to learn about local gardening and native plants, all while building a healthier ecosystem

Where: Luther Burbank Park, South Shoreline Trail
When: Saturday, January 25^th, 10am-1pm
What to bring: Dress for the weather in clothes you don’t mind getting dirty (think: long pants, boots or sneakers). Bring a water bottle. Snacks, gloves and tools will be provided by Mercer Island.
