Slater Park Clean Up- Give Thanks for your Local Park!

What better way to get in the holiday spirit than to give a little back to a local park? Join this pre-Thanksgiving effort to remove blackberry and ivy that is growing across the park.  This event will be led by a Mercer Island Forest Steward in collaboration with near by park neighbors. Enjoy beautiful views of the water all while helping to make a stronger ecosystem. All ages welcome!

• When: Friday, November 24th, 1pm-3pm
• Where: Slater Park (meet by the parking lot)
• What to Bring: Dress for the weather in clothes you don’t mind getting dirty (think: long pants, boots or sneakers). Bring a water bottle. Small snacks, gloves, and tools will be provided.
