Street Ends

A street end park featuring a concrete path to a picnic table and stairs down to Lake Washingon

The City’s 20 “street ends” total six acres of land and 1,140 feet of waterfront on Lake Washington. Opportunities abound for wildlife viewing, picnicking, swimming/wading (no lifeguards on duty), kayaking, and canoeing

Developed Street Ends

Developed street ends typically include park furniture, such as park benches, picnic tables, and trashcans. Some street ends feature trails to the water, beaches, and docks, and some areas are designated for swimming and car-top boat launching. Maintenance typically includes regular mowing and trimming and garbage collection in the peak use season. Parking is usually limited.
