Summer Camps

We are pleased to offer a variety of summer camps through our dedicated partners. All registrations are taken through each organization's website and can be contacted directly for additional information and questions. 

2025 CAMPS 

Curiosity Camp

• 5-12yrs
• August 11^th – 14^th & August 18^th – 21^st
• About the Camp:
  • These fun camps integrate science, art and outdoor play for an engaging summer learning experience. Campers conduct experiments, create art, build, play and have a great time with friends old and new. Having fun and introducing subjects as play fosters lifelong appreciation, curiosity, and confidence for learning.
  • Tim Lowell is an experienced teacher, camp leader and author of ‘Is it Gonna Blow Up?” A guide to creating happy young Scientists, Engineers, Builders and Artists. He holds a WA State teaching certificate, is the founder of Curiosity Club after school programs and has offered camps and classes in K-12 schools throughout Kitsap & King County since 2004.
  • Join us this Summer for curious and fun S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) adventures! Please bring a snack and water bottle to camp each day.

Ballet & Art w/Emerald Ballet Theatre

• 4-8yrs
• July 21^st – 24^th
• About the Camp:
  • Come join us in the fairy ring! This four-day camp at Mercer Island Community Center is inspired by fairies, sprites and elves from ballets and nature. Each day is split equally between dance class and art. Culminates in an informal performance and gallery of student artwork. Wear comfortable clothes and bring a smock or oversized T-shirt (please add name on clothing) to protect clothing during art.

Excel with Chess

• 5-13yrs
• July 21^st – 25^th & August 18^t – 22^nd
• About the Camp:
  • Our campers will be assessed into 2-3 groups depending on their skill level and chess experience. Check-in begins at 8:30am and check-out is between 3:00pm-3:30pm. All students will compete in 5 round tournament. Each Camper will receive a T-Shirt (on the first day) and Chess Trophy (on the last day). Students will be learning chess variants, chess tactics, endgame checkmate patterns, famous game analysis, and more! Registration is first-come first-serve, and each camp will have a cap to help maintain a high coach to student ratio.

J Camp

• 5-12yrs
• July 7^th – August 15^th (Weekly)
• About the Camp:
  • Kids will spend the week playing games, creating art, singing, dancing, and exploring. No pool? No problem! They’ll visit the beautiful beaches of Luther Burbank to wade in the water and play in the sand. Kids will enjoy tons of fun, a low camper-to-counselor ratio, and the relaxing downtime they need to recharge. They’ll spend time at the Mercer Island Community and Event Center and the many beautiful fields at Luther Burbank Park.

LEGO Camp

• 5-14yrs
• June 23^rd – 27^th 
• June 30^th – July 3^rd (4-day week)
• July 28^th – August 1^st

• About the Camp:
  • Dream It. Build It. Wreck It. Repeat. Kids are already naturally gifted creators. Then they get added inspiration from our specially trained instructors. They dive into our massive collections of LEGO® parts. And while they build elaborate objects, structures and vehicles, they explore fundamental principles of engineering and physics. They also learn to collaborate and create without fear of mistakes. The experience is joyful, the impact long-lasting. Themes/Focuses for various weeks include Minecraft, Robotics, The Wizarding World, Coding, and STEM Adventures!

Pedalheads Bike Camp

• 2-12yrs
• June 23^rd – August 22^nd (Weekly)
• About the Camp:
  • Nothing beats being outdoors in the Pacific Northwest during the summer! Pedalheads provides kids with fun activities that will keep them mentally and physically sharp and provide them with an outlet to grow their social skills, physical skills, and mental skills. Fun, and educational bike camps and lessons, best known for taking kids from training wheels to two wheels to riding safely and confidently on the road.

Petals Art Club

• 6-12yrs
• June 30th – July 3rd
• July 14th – July 17th
• August 4th – August 7th

• About the Camp:
  • Let’s get making! This camp is all about hands-on crafting, exploring lots of craft designs, and bringing big ideas to life. Kids will create unique projects each day, experiment with different materials, and enjoy a fun, relaxed space to express themselves. 4 days of themed art-making (3 hours/day) – every day is a new masterpiece!

Revolution Indoor Volleyball

• 5-18yrs
• July 14^th – 17^th
• About the Camp:
  • Join us and improve your volleyball skills this summer! Camp is open to all ages and ability levels. Each camper will be assessed and grouped with campers of similar age and ability levels. Adjustments to the groups may be made throughout the week to provide campers with opportunities to train with and compete against different players. Drills, games, and scrimmages are designed to help each camper learn, improve, and have fun!

SKYHAWKS Sports

• 4-14yrs

• About the Camp:
  • “Teaching Life Skills through Sports!” Get ready to gear up for a TON of sports options this summer! Weekly sport camps include Basketball, Baseball, Soccer, Lacrosse, Track & Field, Flag Football and more. Each day is a new and exciting adventure!

Seattle Shakespeare Theatre

• 12-19yrs
• August 4^th – 24^th
• About the Camp:
  • Cast in an original production of As You Like It, students will rehearse over three weeks, immersing themselves in all aspects of theatrical storytelling—from text analysis to costume design to set creation to performance. The camp will culminate in two exciting performances at the Luther Burbank Amphitheater on Mercer Island.

TGA – Tennis, Pickleball & Golf
