City Council Special Hybrid Meeting (Executive)
September 28 - Notice is hereby given that the Mercer Island City Council will hold a Special Meeting on Friday, September 30, at 11:00 am, for approximately one hour. The purpose for the Special Meeting is to conduct an Executive Session to discuss with legal counsel pending or potential litigation pursuant to RCW 42.30.110(1)(i) and to plan or adopt the strategy or position to be taken by the City Council during the course of any collective bargaining, professional negotiations, or grievance or mediation proceedings, or to review the proposals made in the negotiations or proceedings while in progress pursuant to RCW 42.30.140(4)(b). No action will be taken following the Executive Session.
City Councilmembers, legal counsel, and staff will participate in the meeting remotely using video conferencing technology provided by Microsoft Teams or in person at Mercer Island City Hall, 9611 SE 36th Street, Mercer Island.
