City Council Special Video Meeting

NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING – EXECUTIVE SESSION

Notice is hereby given that the Mercer Island City Council will hold a Special Meeting on Tuesday, May 12, at 4:00 pm for an Executive Session to discuss 1) pending or potential litigation with legal counsel pursuant to RCW 42.30.110(1)(i) and for 2) planning or adopting the strategy or position to be taken by the City Council during the course of any collective bargaining, professional negotiations, or grievance or mediation proceedings, or reviewing the proposals made in the negotiations or proceedings while in progress pursuant to RCW 42.30.140(4)(b) for approximately 120 minutes.

Pursuant to Governor Inslee’s “Stay Home, Stay Healthy” order, all City Councilmembers, legal counsel, and staff will participate in the meeting remotely using video conferencing technology provided by Zoom.
