City Council Special Video Meeting
REVISED NOTICE - City Council will hold an Executive Session at 5PM to discuss with legal counsel pending or potential litigation pursuant to RCW 42.30.110(1)(i) for approximately 60 minutes. The Special Meeting will commence at 6PM.

NOTICE OF 2021-2022 PRELIMINARY BUDGET & SPECIAL MEETING
Notice is hereby given that the Mercer Island City Council will hold a Special Virtual Meeting for the 2021-2022 Preliminary Budget Presentation on Tuesday, October 13, at 5:00 pm. All City Councilmembers and staff will be participating in the meeting remotely using video conferencing technology provided by Zoom. For the safety and wellbeing of the public and staff, the City strongly recommends that the public attend the meeting by viewing the livestream on the City's YouTube Channel or on MITV Channel 21.
In addition to the livestream, the public can listen to the meeting live by calling (253) 215-8782 and entering the Webinar ID: 899 5891 5497 when prompted.
The Mercer Island City Council will receive a copy of the 2021-2022 Preliminary Budget prior to the October 13, 2020 City Council Special Video meeting and the Mercer Island City Clerk will receive and file a copy of the 2021-2022 Preliminary Budget pursuant to RCW 35A.34.100. A copy of the 2021-2022 Preliminary Budget may be reviewed online after October 1, 2020.
The first public hearing on the preliminary 2021-2022 Biennial Budget is scheduled for the October 20, 2020 City Council Regular Video Meeting.

Please reference "Appearances" on your correspondence. Each speaker will be allowed three (3) minutes to speak.
Public Appearances by Video: Notify the City Clerk in advance that you wish to speak on camera and staff will be prepared to permit temporary video access when you enter the live Council meeting. Please remember to activate the video option on your phone or computer, ensure your room is well lit, and kindly ensure that your background is appropriate for all audience ages. Screen sharing will not be permitted, but documents may be Emailed to Council.

Submitting Written Comments: Written comments may be submitted at the Mercer Island Let’s Talk Council Connects page. Written comments received by 3 PM on October 13, 2020 will be forwarded to all Councilmembers and a brief summary of the comments will be included in the minutes of the meeting.
