City Council Hybrid Meetings

City Council conducts business on the first and third Tuesday of each month.

In March 2022, the City Council moved to a hybrid - virtual and in person - meeting format that begin at 5:00 PM. Individuals can attend the meeting in person or by viewing the live feed of the video on Zoom, the City’s YouTube Channel, or on MI-TV Channel 21.

Public Appearances are available during the hybrid City Council meetings. Individuals who wish to speak live during Appearances and/or the Public Hearings will need to register their request with the City Clerk at 206-275-7793 or email cityclerk@mercerisland.gov and leave a message before 4:00 PM on the day of the Council meeting. Notify the City Clerk in advance if you will be providing your comments in person at City Hall or remotely using Zoom. Please reference "Appearances for [date] Council Meeting" on your correspondence. The City Clerk will call on you by name or telephone number when it is your turn to speak. Individuals may join in person, via telephone or internet (Zoom). 

Written comments may also be submitted as official record. Comments received by 3pm the day of the Council meeting will be forwarded to all Councilmembers and a brief summary of the comments will be included in the minutes of the meeting.
