Restoration Event | Gallagher Hill Open Space

Saturday, November 23, 2024 - 10:00am to 1:00pm

A group of volunteers posing

We recently planted over 800 native plants in Gallagher Hill for our Arbor Day Celebration. To help ensure those plants thrive, we’re going to be spreading mulch and weeding. Mulch provides important water retention and weed suppression especially in areas with poor soil quality. Join to help us protect our native plants. It will be a great chance to get your hands in the dirt, learn about native plants and our local forests, and work alongside neighbors and friends!

No experience necessary and all ages welcome; gloves and tools are provided.
