Security Measures

Subsequent to the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, the Maintenance Department's Utilities Team initiated a thorough review of security measures at the City's reservoirs and main pump station.

The first phase of security upgrades, a video security system that monitors activity at the reservoir site, became operational on November 11, 2001.  In subsequent years, additional building and access alarms have been added, and other measures.
