CERT Training
Learn disaster response skills, gain confidence, and be empowered to help your family and neighbors.

Mercer Island's Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Course for 2020 begins on Monday, February 24.  This CERT Course will be held weekly on Monday Evenings from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM in the City Hall Emergency Operations Center (9611 SE 36th Street).

The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) program is designed to educate citizens about disaster preparedness for the hazards where they live. By the end of training, CERT grads will be equipped to take care of themselves, their families, neighborhood, and community. The City of Mercer Island's goal is to make communities safer, more prepared, and more resilient - CERT training helps accomplish that.
