National Meds Take Back Day

The City’s Police Department, in partnership with the MI Healthy Youth Initiative, is once again coordinating with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) to offer a medications Take-Back Event.

This, free, anonymous in-person event will be held on Saturday, April 24, 2021 from 10:00am-2:00pm at the loading dock on the west side of the Mercer Island City Hall (9611 SE 36th Street). To protect the safety of staff and volunteers, please follow COVID-19 protocols by wearing a mask and practicing social distancing; attendees will need to place their own medications into the disposal bins as staff cannot handle the medications.
