24-43 RFP - EV Charging Infrastructure Plan
METHOD OF BID SOLICITATION: MRSC Consulting “Design and Planning” and “Environmental Consulting” and with the matching sub-categories of “Electrical Transportation Systems”, “Electrical Vehicle Site Assessment”, “Sustainability planning” Roster in accordance with RCW 39.04.155.
The City of Mercer Island (“City”) requests submittals from qualified firms to develop a plan for municipal electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure and create a roadmap for electrifying the City fleet. The purpose of this project is to begin the development of the City’s community-wide EV Charging Infrastructure Plan, as outlined in the City’s Climate Action Plan. The City intends to expand this scope in the future to include a community-wide EV infrastructure charging program.
Successful applicants will be experienced in strategic planning around fleet electrification and charging infrastructure needs and capacity. Through this process, the City aims to identify a single, full-service firm that will undertake the scope of this RFP.
