REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS: 21-31

Notice is hereby given that the City of Mercer Island (City) has issued a Request for
Qualifications (RFQ) from qualified engineering firms to assist with a design for replacing
the permanent backup generator at two sewer pump stations. Work includes reviewing
both pump stations, designing plans, developing bid documents, and providing
construction support services. The complete RFQ can be downloaded at
www.mercerisland.gov/rfps.

Statement of Qualifications, as outlined in the RFQ package, must be received, not sent,
no later than 2:00 PM on July 21, 2021. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the
temporary closure of the Mercer Island City Hall building, all SOQs will only be accepted
via electronic transmission. Submit SOQ packets to: publicworks@mercerisland.gov with
title: “SOQ – 21-31: SEWER PS GENERATOR REPLACEMENT DESIGN”.
