Engineering Team

Our engineering team consists of one Senior Development Review Engineer, one City Arborist, one Right of Way (ROW)/Utilities Construction Inspector, and the City Engineer. 

They can answer questions about:

  • Private Development Projects:
    • What are the draining and utility requirements
    • Will I need a Right-of-Way permit
    • What are the regulations about tree retention
  • Non-Development Projects:
    • Do I need a permit to cut a tree on my property
  • Right-of-Way (ROW)
    • Is this area in the City ROW or is this part of my property
    • Do I need a ROW use permit
    • Can I build a rockery, install paver blocks, or plant shrubs in the ROW

Questions about trees in the ROW can be answered by the City ROW Arborist in our Public Works Department.
