Re-roof permits for single family residential structures are required when sheathing is replaced or when the type of roofing material is changed.

Select a roofing contractor and confirm that they have a Mercer Island Business License.

Single family residential re-roof permits can be obtained online at mybuildingpermit.com.  

Required Reviews

No review is required for typical roof replacement, as described above. 
Note: Plan review is required if roof framing will be replaced, repaired or otherwise modified.
